This Portuguese Peri Peri Marinade / Sauce spice blend captures the bold essence of peri peri spice. Customize the recipe by adjusting the quanties and spiciness levels to match your preferences and enjoy the vibrant flavors of Portuguese and African cuisine.
As a Marinade – Suggested blend (Spice 50 g / Oil 10 ml / Water 120 ml): You may also mix the Portuguese Peri Peri Powder Blend with olive oil, lemon juice, and a splash of vinegar to create a marinade. Coat your choice of protein (chicken, prawns, shrimp, tofu, etc.) with the mixture and let it marinate for a few hours before grilling or roasting. Grill or roast the marinated ingredients for a zesty and spicy dish.
As a Sauce – (Mix as per required viscosity): Mix the Portuguese Peri Peri Powder Blend with olive oil and a touch of lemon juice to create a dipping sauce. Serve the sauce with grilled meats, seafood, or as a condiment for
sandwiches.
As a Sprinkle: Sprinkle the blend onto roasted vegetables, fries, or popcorn to add a burst of spicy flavor.
As a Paste: Mix the Portuguese Peri Peri Powder Blend with either olive / sunflower oil, lemon juice, water and a splash of vinegar to create a paste.
